This policy explains what personal data Pixel Code Labs Infotech (“we”, “us”) collects through this website, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. We are a web design business based in New Delhi, India, and we are the data fiduciary (controller) for the data described here.
What we collect
We only collect what you choose to send us. When you submit the contact form we receive:
- your name and phone or WhatsApp number;
- optionally, your email address, business name, type of business, city, and current website or Instagram;
- the services, plan and timing you choose, and any message you write;
- your IP address and browser user agent, recorded with the submission so we can detect and block spam and abuse.
If you email, call or message us directly, we receive whatever you include in that message along with your contact details.
Why we use it
- to reply to your enquiry and discuss a possible project;
- to prepare a proposal or quote if you ask for one;
- to keep the contact form free of spam and protect the site from misuse.
We process enquiry data on the basis of your consent when you submit the form, and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries and keeping the site secure. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or add you to a mailing list.
Where it is stored
Enquiries are stored in our website database. A copy is sent to our studio inbox by email, and may also be recorded in a private Google Sheet that we use to track enquiries. Access is limited to the people at the studio who handle new projects.
Who processes it for us
We rely on a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf:
- our website hosting and database provider, which runs this site and stores submissions;
- Brevo, which delivers the notification and confirmation emails sent when you use the form;
- Google, which provides the email and spreadsheet tools we use to manage enquiries.
Some of these providers store data outside India, including in the United States and the European Union. Where data leaves India or the UK/EU, we rely on the provider’s contractual safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for 24 months from your last contact with us, then delete them. If an enquiry turns into a project, the data becomes part of our client records and is kept as long as our contract and Indian tax and accounting law require.
Your rights
Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can ask us for a summary of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct, complete or erase it, withdraw your consent at any time, and nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf. You can also raise a grievance with us, and if we don’t resolve it, with the Data Protection Board of India.
If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Union, the UK GDPR and EU GDPR also give you the right to access, correct, erase or restrict use of your data, to object to processing, and to receive your data in a portable format. You can complain to your local supervisory authority, such as the Information Commissioner’s Office in the UK.
To use any of these rights, email info@pixelcodelabs.com. We will reply within 30 days and may need to confirm your identity first.
Cookies
This website does not use tracking, analytics or advertising cookies. The only cookies we set are strictly necessary ones for signing in to the private admin area, which visitors to the public site never receive.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, and access to stored enquiries is protected by authentication. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data and will tell you without delay if a breach affects it, as the law requires.
Changes and contact
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. Questions about privacy can be sent to info@pixelcodelabs.com.
